is an exciting time, a milestone, a long awaited event; it also

first step is to sit down and go through the pre-qualification process,
most real estate brokers will be asking for this information prior
to your viewing homes, this will give you a firm idea of what you
can afford and enable you to write the purchase offer with the assurance
that you can afford the home.

credit history via a Credit Report, how and why they work

"loan to value", that is the amount of money being borrowed
versus the value of the property

your debt ratio, which determines how much payment you can afford

we have completed this step, you will have a better understanding
of the loan process and products, which are available to you.
Next
we will explain the various ways to start looking for that "special"
house that will become your home. We will explain the different
ways homes are marketed, whether the home is listed with a Realtor
or is For Sale By Owner.
Next
comes the Offer to Purchase procedure, we will review what you will
see on the purchase contract.
Then
we will go through the time line, from beginning to end, what is
involved from the day of pre-approval to the day of the close on
your new home and you move in.
